October is breast cancer prevention month. It is worth finding a quarter of an hour this month to take care of your health and perform a breast examination. An opportunity to do this will be the mammography screening campaign, which will take place on October 4th. On this day, in front of our Shopping Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. there will be a mammobus where you can perform the test.

Free mammography tests are available to women aged 50 to 69 who have not had tests performed under the National Health Fund’s prevention program in the last 2 years.

Other women aged 35 to 49 or over 70 or those who have had a test in the last 24 months will also be able to take advantage of the test, but it will be charged PLN 100.

Meeting participants will receive sweet gifts from the Rossmann drugstore.

The examination will take less than a quarter of an hour and involves taking 4 projections (two for each breast). They will be performed by radiologists from the Medica Centre in the mammobus in front of our shopping mall.

When reporting for an examination, the patient should have her ID card and the results of a previous breast examination, if any. This test does not require any additional preparation. It is best to come in two-piece clothing so that you can easily undress from the waist up.

Mammography is an effective method of early detection of breast cancer. The earlier the disease is diagnosed, the greater the chances of full recovery! Therefore, it is not worth delaying this examination. Mammography is a preventive examination recommended for women over 35 years of age. due to the structure of the breast, which changes throughout life. In younger women, ultrasound examination is more effective.
